That isn't the case all the time. Most of us don't ever have the opportunity to pick who our co-workers are. If we're lucky, we'll work with someone who was previously a friend or someone we knew and felt comfortable with - and trusted. A work environment changes all the rules though. I've decided to start documenting everything 'my' particular co-worker is 'telling' me to do, and not to do. She's saying these things in a subtle but firm way. Because she is a 'lead' person, I think she thinks she has more clout than she really has. She actually TOLD me not to talk to the manager about something. I did anyway, without naming names. It's a small company - (insert smile here). I liked this person right off the bat - I now see her as a backstabber and a menace to the companies goals over-all. Any thoughts out there on documenting before taking issues to the boss?
