Co-worker constantly talking about my personal life

I have a few co-workers who feel the need to talk about my personal life. I try to keep my personal life seperate. I am working full time and going for my MBA. I am tired and stressed out and this is just adding to it. I don't know how to handle this. I have never done anything to these people and have always been pleasant and friendly. However, they like to talk badly about me behind my back. I am trying not to be hurt by what they are saying (because they are complete lies) but its hard. I also feel that I shouldn't have to defend myself.
