The reasons :- Poor network management - lack of housekeeping Serious network issues remaining unsolved Removing sophos antivirus (that a 3rd party company installed) 1) When I started at the school the network was unix (which I was a specialist in) and the number of networked computers was 14. 2) I have had no server or network training to help my development at school(despite asking). 3) I have installed, configured and maintained windows nt4 server, updated to two windows 2000 servers and one windows 2003 server. I set up :- the active directory and group policies, file shares, IIS Webserver, user secuirty/groups etc. I have also deployed software across the school and ones without msi's I have packaged, tested and deployed. 4) The sophos antivius was not installed properly and failed (I have contacted sophos and if it was not installed properly it would leave registry entries but not be operational. 5) The IT Contractors now have a support contract with the school and have won bids for the provision of new ICT Suites/DIDA Suite. I am wanting other people in a similar position to give me their opinion on the situation I find myself in and also to give me your thoughts on if you think it is reasonable to be accused of these faults without adequate training provision. Please also identify if you would be prepared to let me use your response in my disciplinary meeting to show that I am not alone in thinking I have been mistreated. Any help would be much appreciated Mank thanks To reply to this topic or add a comment, just complete our 20-second registration process which is free and confidential.
