    Unstable Co-worker

I work with an unstable coworker at best. The company I work for is small (10 employees) and my coworker and I are CSR's at the front counter. He's a very angry person and has constant mood swings (when he's happy he's sarcastic and biting but can be very charming to customers; when he's angry he's just plain nasty.) He told me he thought about going on Prosac but decided against it. He's had tiffs with every single employee in the place and 4 months ago, when in his angry mode, he came into the breakroom and said "Someday I'm going to blow everyone in this place away." I told him "don't say that" and he repeated it. It bothered me a lot and I finally told the boss about it later that day. When he found out I told the boss he was enraged saying it was just "joking." Since then he's given me the silent treatment; bullys me; and is just plain mean. The boss has addressed it with him but says he doesn't think the coworker would ever "do" anything. I disagree and am looking for another position. How to deal with him in the long run. (i'm a female)
