    Immature co-workers / Boss ignores

As someone not in Human Resources, whose manager is usually not on site 75% of the week, how should I personally manage situations with immature co-workers in my department? These situations range from childish pranks to posting signs with offensive and inappropriate language on the walls. The manager sees these but has not reacted or asked that they be taken down. I do not understand why it goes unacknowledged, but it does. I personally find this behavior rude, unprofessional and I don't understand the need of these people to engage in this. I am looking for another position, but I do enjoy my work and don't want to leave due to the atmosphere.

Reply: I guess it would depend on what the messages are. If they're not racist or otherwise illegal, I'd suggest you not react to them either because you'd only be giving negative attention to some that are obviously very immature. It's difficult when it comes to picking our battles, but I think if you get too caught up in this one, if something more serious comes up, you won't be taken seriously. Good luck
